Wyomissing Church hosts gospel show [Religion Digest]
October 30 — Kissinger’s Church, 715 Berkshire Blvd., Wyomissing, will host a gospel show with Jeff Krick Sr. next Saturday at 4 pm. Doors open at 3 p.m.
St. Michael’s Church, 529 St. Michaels Road, Tilden Township, will celebrate the Reformation Sunday at 10:15 am, with Holy Communion. Wear red. The congregation will hold its second vote to leave ELCA after the service.
Wyomissing Church of the Brethren, 2200 State Hill Road, Wyomissing, will be hosting a Holiday Craft Fair next Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Grace Lutheran Church, 30 Liberty St., Shillington, will host a Holiday Craft Fair on November 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Christ St. Paul United Church, 5 W. Arch St., Fleetwood, will be holding its Christmas Bazaar on November 13 from 9 am to 1 pm. There will be homemade food and baked goods, artisans, produce vendors, a white elephant selling, books and toys, and local author Wil Carpenter. There will be two church services on Sunday, at 9 a.m. in the sanctuary and online and outside at 10:30 a.m., weather permitting. Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road, Barto, will be holding a Sunday worship service at 9 a.m. with Holy Communion in the pews with pre-packaged items. Before the worship service, there will be a coffee and a conversation at 8:30 a.m. in the visitor center, and after the service there will also be a coffee and a conversation. The Bible study for adults will take place at 10 a.m. in the living room. Masks are recommended.
Zion Womelsdorf United Church of Christ will worship in Miller Hall at Christ St. Paul United Church, 301 W. Penn Ave., Robesonia, at 10:15 am on Reformation Sunday. Zion Lutheran Church, 354 Zion Church Road, Perry Township, will celebrate Reformation Sunday at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship services with Holy Communion. The 10:30 am service will be available on Facebook Live. Sunday school, for all ages, will take place at 9:15 am. CDC guidelines will be followed.
The Lutheran Reformation Church, 3670 Perkiomen Ave., Township of Exeter, will celebrate Reformation Sunday with in-person worship at 8:30 am and 10:30 am. Masks are mandatory. The Reformation Choir, the Bell Choir and the Brass Quintet, under the direction of Dr Heidi Rochlin, director of music, will lead the worship service during both services. Sunday school, for all ages, starts at 9:30 am. The 10:30 am service will be streamed live on Facebook and can be viewed later on www.Reformationlutheran.org. under the worship videos.
St. John’s Reformed Church, 4001 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, will be holding its annual Trunk or Treat event in the church parking lot today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All fans are welcome, and there will be snacks and games as well. Next Saturday, the church will host a community dinner in its Stoudt Fellowship Hall from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. This event is open to the public.
Trinity United Church of Christ, 2449 Cumberland Ave., Mount Penn, will hold in-person worship on Sunday at 10:15 am Parish Adult School will be held at 9:00 am. The service will also be registered and published on Facebook.

Christ Episcopal Church, 435 Court St., Reading, will be holding three in-person worship services on Sunday, all including the Holy Eucharist: at 8 am there will be a said service (no music); at 9, a service for families with young children; and at 10:15 am, a service with music. Friedens United Church of Christ, 337 Main St., Oley will hold in-person and Zoom worship on Sunday at 10:15 am The mission team is collecting items for the Oley Valley pantry. Driving donations will take place next Saturday and November 13 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The focus is on 40-ounce cans of sweet potatoes in November, but any food will be accepted. Calvary United Church of Christ, 640 Center Ave., Reading, has a special music day on Sunday. Harriet Rauenzahn, a local musician and retired church musician, will perform Claude Debussy’s “Première Arabesque” on the 8 o’clock service. Flute soloist Jocelyn Crosby will perform on the service at 10:30 a.m. and perform a special concert at 2:30 p.m.
Maidencreek Church, 261 Main Street, Maidencreek Township, will hold a hybrid worship service at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
